Te Kupenga o Manukau had a great 2008, thanks to everyone's hard work and commitment. A very special thanks to our tireless secretary, Moana Papa, who is taking a well-earned break this year. Ngā mihi nui ki a koe, Moana.

The class of 2008!

Te Kupenga o Manukau is a community education network set up to support organisations providing Adult and Community Education (ACE). If you would like to find out more about us, feel free to come to a meeting or to contact us.

We have been meeting monthly in Manukau City since 2002 and we welcome visitors and new members. If you are a provider of adult and community education and are interested in attending our monthly meetings we’d love to see you.

The new TKOM communications co-ordinator is Kelly Wright, 2boyz@xtra.co.nz

NIU Development Incorporated

NDI is a community organisation, a trust, set up to cater for the needs of the Niue people living in Auckland, & NZ wide. NDI in its present form has been in operation since the beginning of the millenium. Actually NDI had started earlier as part of another Niue Community group.

Projects:
We run a number of projects such the Niue Adult Literacy/Vagahau Niue, Problem Gambling, SKIP and others. Being associated to or with TKOM is one of the requirements we must meet to run our ACE funded NAL/VN project.
